Pammy Lammy was the sunshine we all needed! In May 2022 Pam drove all the way to Arizona to spend time celebrating my first born son, Finn. To know that was the last time I would get one of her amazing hugs is bittersweet. She gave me the book to read to my son “Wherever You Are My Love Will Find You” and it’s the greatest gift she could have left us.
In October 2017 she was there to watch me walk down the aisle to marry my husband, Scott. Here’s a picture of her holding my nephew, Axel (Son to Nick & Crystal Plouffe). Little did she know that she first met Scott at Nick and Crystals wedding where Steve couldn’t make it so she actually sat right next to Scott. Just like everyone else, Scott loved her instantly and was so thankful to share the memory with her.
Unfortunately, in March 2016 my dad, Andre Plouffe, passed away from his battle with pancreatic cancer. We had a celebration of life for him in April and who better to make all of the flower arrangements than the only one we all know with a green thumb! She came with all of her flower arrangement supplies and made the most beautiful arrangements for each table! It was beautiful and included her and my dads favorite flower, the sunflower.
When I was little we had the best Easter egg hunt in Pam’s garden. My Dad was in charge of hiding the “silver egg” that he not so secretly hid in one of Pam’s HUGE roses because no one could find it so he told me where he hid it! I was so happy…my brother…not so much!
The day after my dad passed away, the winds were so strong at her house it knocked over her bird feeder. She said she thought of my dad and how much fun he’s having with his new wings “Come on everybody!!!! Let’s see what these puppies can do.” I hope you’re enjoying your new wings Pammy Lammy. I love you and miss you already.
